The Blackout Crew were formed in Bolton and were inspired by the donk sounds of Alex K and the NRG/ Bounce music played at the likes of Wigan Pier and various north-west clubs. After creating their own fan base via You Tube, bluetoothing and touring under 18 clubs throughout the UK, the videos to their anthems–”Put A Donk On It”, “Bbbbounce” and “Dialled” have become a huge focal point. The debut album Time 2 Shine features these massive tracks plus the single “Rumpa Pumpa”.
