Homesick is A Day to Remember’s third studio album. It was released on February 2, 2009 in Europe and February 3, 2009 in the United States and has placed at #21 on Billboard’s Top 200 Listings and at #1 on Top Independent Albums as of February 21. It was produced by Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory and mixed by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage. In October 2008, a song called “Wax Larry” appeared on the band’s MySpace, which was the demo of “I’m Made Of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?”.

Sound Of Stereo is Jochen Sablon and Vincent De Boeck. They met about a year ago on the internet. Though it wasn’t a datingsite on which they met, they hooked up pretty fast and started producing and deejaying together. And with success: Their first single “Nic Nag” was picked up by MTV, that used it for a televisioncommercial. After MTV, also Belgium’s national radiostation Studio Brussels discovered the magic duo and decided to play their songs in heavy rotation on some of their best shows such as Switch, Mish Mash, Volt and The Maxx. Next to the (inter)national media, also a lot of (inter)national deejays discovered Sound Of Stereo: They are tracklisted and loudly supported by Crookers, Bloody Beetroots, Dr. Lektroluv, Lee Mortimer, Jokers Of The Scene, The Subs, PartyhardERS and many others. After playing in every fancy club and party in Belgium, they are about to take over France, Portugal, Italy and the rest of Europe. Sound Of Stereo’s new Zoopah Doopah EP will contain three original tracks and is due for release mid november on Lektroluv records. Keep your ears open for the next big Belgian thing!

Showbiz is the debut studio album by English alternative rock band Muse, released in the United Kingdom on 4 October 1999. Recorded between April and May at RAK Studios and Sawmills Studio, respectively, the album was produced by John Leckie and Paul Reeve in conjunction with the band. Showbiz was a minor commercial success, reaching number 29 on the UK Albums Chart.
Upon its release, many critics were quick to dismiss the album for sounding too similar to the band Radiohead. However, in 2009, the album was placed in the top 20 albums of the last 20 years by MSN Music Editor James Hurley; describing the album as: “Despite the obvious Radiohead comparisons which even attracted criticism from Thom Yorke himself, Muse announced themselves as formidable, if not yet entirely original, talents with this album.”

Madredeus is a Portuguese band. Their music combines traditional Portuguese music with influences with modern folk music. The lyrics are often melancholic and related to the sea or travelling or absence, continuing a tradition of songs that dates back to Medieval times (with obvious relations to cantigas de amigo among others).
They released several albums and became very popular in Portugal, but remained relatively unknown outside the country. This changed in 1994 when Wim Wenders, impressed by their music, asked Madredeus to perform in his movie Lisbon Story – the soundtrack gave the band international fame. Thanks to that, Madredeus spread their wings to the world and conquered fans from all over Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.
In 1994 Rodrigo Leão left the band to start a solo career, being replaced by Carlos Maria Trindade (keyboard synthesizer).
